You might expect that, being Italian, I would be very keen on the health benefits of a diet enriched by lots of tomatoes. But as a body worker and health promoter I want to point out some unknown benefits....

Did you know tomatoes are rich in lycopene, a red pigment found in other foods, but which helps regulate fat and sugar metabolism ? Tomatoes provide strong antioxidants and are anti-inflammatory, benefitting the cardiovascular system and shown to reduce risks in certain cancers, e.g.breast and prostate. Not only that but they are so versatile in cooking, just look at the different types on my kitchen table!
